Accidentally bumped the cover and spilled the ink I'm just thankful I had it on my watercolor card! What a mess! The ink was also included in the wooden holder :( I would have made the indentation of the inkwell much deeper!

You will need to sand and polish this piece yourself, the wood is very rough and unfinished. It's a nice little bottle that doesn't close so I don't know how the ink will hold up. I think you need to rinse and clean after every session.

Looks good in the picture but disappointingly small ink tank with a ridiculous lid. The rough, unfinished wooden stand was annoying. I had to resand and repaint. The inclined pen holder looks and feels cheap. The screw is not adjustable. All in all it was a waste of my time and money.

The glass container is too small, the wood does not have a deep enough recess to prevent the glass container from tipping over and the color of the wood is not specified. The red paint will rub off from your hands, paper, and anything else that comes in contact with it. Have to paint again. The only good thing is the slanted tip, which can be purchased separately. Bad experience.

I like to write letters to family and friends. My kids gave me an ink pen to cheer me up. The ink tank helps a lot as it helps charge the pen without having to dip it in a bottle of consumables. After I'm done, I pour the excess back into the storage bottle and rinse out the ink bottle. I enjoy a comfortable feeling when writing.

Love this little jar, lid and tray! I understand Japanese ladies use this as a "puddle" for their glass pens. Love it too and would recommend if you do this type of work! How cute too! I expect to paint the wooden base to match my decor and it goes well with my handles. I look forward to buying a few more in the future. Unstoppable fun!

This tiny and cute ink bottle and pen holder is just what I need. I wanted a small fountain that wouldn't take too much ink to dip a slanted fountain pen into. - and despite other reviews, I found my slanted grip perfect for diving. I also added a piece of conical cork (which itself isn't at all airtight) to the lid, taped in place to seal my ink between uses. A simple wooden stand is all I need so it works great for me! - especially for the price!
