This antenna covers a large area. It works great on my Whistler WS-1040. I ordered a second one so I have one in the car and one in the camper.

Tried multiple locations in Arizona and California for several days, scanned multiple conventional and trunked 800MHz, 460-470MHz UHF systems, and even found some VHF and VHF Lo channels and the signal level tried just over 1 bar. With the standard rubber ducky I had 3-5 on the BCD396xt and with the Diamond RH77 it was much better. Really disappointed.
