These are good bags for everyday use, but the opening (8x16) is small when you look directly inside. We have 4 fat cats that easily accommodate all of the day's waste. Smells vaguely like soy sauce and a bit difficult to open until you find out, I've added a video. Basically, hold the bag by the side where the handles are, spread it out to the side, put your hand through the handle loop, and it pops open instantly. Recommended, but I haven't used the other yet.

I bought these to replace some of the small biodegradable bags I bought from Pogi's Poop Bags. They're a bit bigger and easier to fit in a litter box when I toss the litter in the bag. The grips are useful for knitting this easily. So far I haven't had a break for myself! The bags have an odd smell, something between ground coffee and fresh ice cream cones, but I don't mind. I feel so much better picking up trash in these recycle bags instead of plastic grocery bags!

I have two cats (indoor/outdoor) and I remove clumps of poop and urine daily and place them in a small lidded bucket lined with this bag. The backpack is thin, but I've never ripped it. They are perfect for my 6 liter bin. They fit well, have no extra folds, which makes it much easier to collect dirt. Sometimes dirt in plastic bags gets stuck in excess folds at the top and then falls to the bottom. Make sure you insert them so that the handles are at the widest part of the bin. First they shipped direct from California to the east coast and my package arrived two days later. Much earlier than the expected date Revane gave me. We use a very large box for three cats and it is cleaned once a day. This bag held all the contents and appeared to be very durable. Wide enough to fit a dustpan, yes, it's a bit smaller than the opening of a regular plastic bag, but with a little maneuvering, almost all of the junk made it into the bag.
