Beast fans but according to

These are some cool fans man they really put out CFM and keep it cool. The only downside is that they are pretty noisy at full speed. May be too loud for some people. Also, these fans work great and I have two of them strapped to my case blowing against my fiery Radeon R9 290X graphics card and keeping me cool. These are the most powerful 80mm fans I've seen and I plan to buy more fans from Bgears soon.

12 volts and high speed make this a noise problem!

My computer had 2 case fans and due to age they started making noise when first turned on so I decided to swap the front and rear fans. Both fans are connected to the motherboard, but the front fan is connected to a 4-pin connector that supplies 5 volts, while the rear fan needs to be connected to the system fan's 3-pin connector, which supplies a direct 12-volt -Supply is. The front fan works and is almost inaudible, but when I connect the rear fan to the 3-pin connector, it makes so much…

Case study: They cool well, but 3 (of 4) failed within 18 months.

This is more of a report than an overview. I bought four b-Blaster 80mm fans from Bgears in August 2015 and installed four in identical hardware: three external cases with four SATA drives each. Two 80mm fans are mounted vertically on the front of each case to cool the four drives. In one case I used Bgears and a Noctua R8 fan (bought around the same time). On another occasion I used two Bgears. In the third, I used a single Bgears, and the bottom two drives were cooled separately in a…

great cooling with a little windy sound. good!

Works very well. I needed the included power adapter cable. Good airflow. Even if it sounds a bit windy. The noise is not bad, but noticeable. I placed one on the back of the case, blown out, and one on the front of the case, blown in. I have been monitoring the CPU temperature for over a week. Excellent cooling even with intensive use. I recommend it.
