Suitable for porcelain, about 4-6 times anyway

I bought two packs to drill 8 holes in porcelain tile for a shower door. They work but wear out after about 4-6 holes. . Once "jaded" they tend to run around knocking out a hole, so don't mess around, buy enough bits to get the job done. Start at a 45 degree angle with the drill rotating and make a crescent, then slowly incline to 90 degrees. Grab him. cool slowly and with water.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Went like clockwork!

I'm glad it's a two-piece set. So if one burns out, you have the other to finish the job. They are well made and if you start your hole at a slight angle it will bite into the tile and then straighten the drill bit and go at the right angle and you will find it easier to do it. It only took 1 to work and it turned out great. They contain a wax center so you don't have to worry about them getting too hot, no need for water. We used this on porcelain stoneware and it only took a minute for each…

Pros
  • Electric drill parts and accessories
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

I'm not a professional tiler but I shower 3 or 4 times a year at my investment property. I've used various other pieces of tile in the past with some success, some better than others. These BGTEC dry diamond drill bits worked very well on my recent tile job, a durable nearly 1/2 inch thick glossy PORCELAIN wall tile. The wax filled bits kept the bits from overheating (I splashed some water in the hole just in case) and I was able to drill a total of 6 holes (for the aluminum handrail) which…
