📝 Bienfang Bristol Paper Pad, 11x14 Inches, Smooth Surface, 20 Sheets Review

I have Bee Paper Co. Bristol paper. weighing 130 pounds, which is thicker than this supposedly 140-pound paper. SpeedBall, please stop saying your paper is thicker than it really is!

I used it for school when I was studying architecture. It arrived the next day as promised. However, one corner of the notebook looks like a heavily worn book, and the cover and top sheet are creased. Curled paper is not acceptable.

Not as good quality as Strathmore Bristol. The paper is quite thin for a Bristol and inconsistent quality, if you look at it in the light you'll see what I mean. Some patches are very thin compared to others. Pens and markers bleed heavily on it compared to other brands I've used. I have sketchbook paper that doesn't bleed. I wouldn't buy this again.

I bought this Bristol calligraphy pad. Although I've used other calligraphy bristols with no problems, this one mixes pretty badly. For the price I think the paper is ok and also suitable for other purposes. Minimal drawing tooth and I probably wouldn't use it with markers for the same reason it doesn't work well with fountain pens. This may be okay depending on the ink. Unlike other Noodler inks, Noodler X-Feather Ink does not smear on this paper.
