I was expecting a "fabric hand sewing needle for all fabrics". It's not what they are. If you use a strong yarn for rugs, canvas, etc., they can work. They are not suitable for hand sewing on thin fabrics and are not very sharp.

These big-eye needles are easier to thread with heavy thread, like I use to sew nylon ribbon at a picnic in the Got used outdoors mat. The needles are supplied in a clear hard plastic case with a tight fitting lid.
