A must for lathes.

Very convenient and necessary marker to locate all the tips for any lathe. The markings are clear and reach 8 inches. Well made and easy to use.

The middle of the rod is hard to find. This tool makes it really easy. It's light and comfortable. Note. The tool doesn't offer "pencil allowance", so use a pen to mark the lines.

No instructions, like from China, but MADE IN USA.

There are no instructions, I even checked on the website. Also, did I figure out what the crooked part is for? It's bad when goods come from China with poorly written instructions, and these are written in big letters "MADE IN USA" on the packaging. Is that some kind of excuse?

Not accurate enough!

I ordered this item to increase my order total to qualify for free shipping. I figured it would be something I could use for about the same price as the shipping cost of the other item I ordered. I found that they don't take into account the width of a sharp pencil mark. So if you align the centers on a wood lathe with the center of the cross marks you will always be offset enough to get some serious "wiggle". " in your work. Fix it and it will be great.
