Big Time Toys Ball Party Review

These yo-yos are so much fun! The colors and prints were different. It takes a little getting used to, I just followed the instructions on the back of the pack and learned the trick after a few tries. I bought these as a gift for my son's 10th birthday party because we didn't have many children and I never liked bags of junk that you could just throw away. . .it's coming, so now we'll see if four 10-year-old boys can resist being used as weapons!

Good thing I had a few, 2 broke in minutes. If you pull the rope too hard or throw it too fast, it won't bounce back. Yes, this sounds like a simple concept that is easy to follow, but try explaining it to a five or seven year old. LAUGH OUT LOUD. They worked great when slowed down to play with. The plastic is tough, and even dropping it on hard wood or tapping cement didn't break or crack them. That's the line that's the problem. Once the relay inside breaks, it stops working like a yo-yo.

My 3 year old is intrigued by the idea of yoyos as they often appear as the "Y" object in songs and alphabet books. I remember these from my childhood. They return automatically, making them a great toy for young children who are new to yo-yos. However, my son managed to break one within the first 30 minutes of use by banging it on the floor. Good that there are 5 packs.! He's learning to be more careful, but he's low to the ground anyway, so accidental hits are bound to happen. I'm still glad…

I had a similar yo-yo as a child and this one lasted (from a different manufacturer). They break easily if you surprisingly use them like a yo-yo. The manufacturer sent us a new one very quickly, which also broke within a few days. These toys are junk and the manufacturer knows they are junk so they sent a replacement no questions asked. I suspect they sent out a lot of spare parts but did a cost benefit analysis and figured out they would still make money off that crap. If you drop this yo-yo,
