Portable Solar Charger: BigBlue 28W Solar Panel with Digital Ammeter, 2USB (5V/4A) - Camping, iPhone, Huawei, LG, Google Pixel Review

Maximum charging current 0.7 amps. Basically from 0.4 to 0.5. I live in Florida and tested it twice on a hot sunny day with the same results. Also bought a USB ammeter to confirm. Same results.

I have had this item less than a month and have used it less than 5 times. Unfortunately it no longer loads. I hope this is an isolated product defect and no one else has experienced this. I'm in a southern state and it's in direct sunlight with minimal cloud when trying to charge.

Slightly disappointing. This is expected to give a higher current in full sunlight. As mentioned, there are different versions of this and I have the new one. It seems that the maximum current is about 3.5 amps, which is about 18 watts. It's rated at 28 watts, which should be closer to 5.5 amps. Also, it doesn't charge at least 2 large battery packs that I own. It charges single phones perfectly. Not sure what the problem is.

I had high hopes for this solar charger. I put my iPhone in my pocket as directed and checked it out in just 5 minutes. It already had an over temperature warning on it (the bag is uninsulated and painted black). So I unplugged it, cooled it down and when I plugged it back in I put it in a separate insulated cooler box instead. Despite charging for a full hour in full sun, the battery level is now lower than when we started!

The best of all solar chargers. Tested in a cloudy environment with low sunlight and it still charges my iphone. I'm glad I bought it. I would like to change my rating here. I think this is a unique product on Revain, I usually saw some promotions including a solar charger along with a separate ammeter, or you may even have to look at many sellers' sites and see what the best price may be. A good ammeter is priced between $10-$15, plus $40-$55 for a solar charger. With this product you get and at a lower price and it works great.
