Good for polymer clay, at least

At only $8 I would definitely recommend buying these for dotting tools only. The silicone end of the tools was probably my favorite part of the whole thing, but the glue holding them to the plastic handle is pretty weak and they fall off in the first few days. The black plastic tools are also very cheap, but they can easily be neglected and don't add much to the overall cost of the package. Keep in mind that I'm pretty mediocre too, so I'm not sure how well they work at a more advanced level.

Adequate tools

Edit - 2/9/2020 Need to edit this review. First time I used one of the silicone tipped tools. It broke so they might not get the job done as I pointed out in my first review. *** I haven't had much time to use the tools yet, but I'm sure they will get the job done. Glad to use tools, though.

One of the pieces was broken when I received it, a first for me. I still think it was the normal value. Problems aside, I love the feel of the tools and really want to use them. I just glued the broken part with E6000 glue and now it's like new. ** Item may have been damaged during shipping. Little did I know how useful big balls at the end of a stick could be.

I bought this set to maybe get back into sculpting. The day after I received this 13-piece tool kit, I received some [branded polymer clay]. I've never used a ballpoint pen before, but I'm really curious how I smoothed out the additions to my sculptures. It seems to be a high quality kit (so far). The silicone tips are surprisingly soft, yet durable enough to add texture. The only ones I haven't used are hard black plastic dingus. For the money this kit is excellent value IMHO.
