Bought this for my husband and I while we crochet. These are great little scissors and very sharp. I also love the vintage style.

Nice strong scissors

They have some weight, don't look cheap. They're sharp too - I've used them to cut through paper, plastic, fabric - cut cleanly every time. There is nothing better than these scissors.

Nice! - Sewing accessories

I embroider a lot! I wanted a small pair of scissors that are beautiful. Something beautiful that would add elegance to my workspace. My only complaint is that they are VERY spicy! Can you tell that the scissors are too sharp? In any case, they are wonderful! I can give away the second pair. I love her!

Beautiful and practical!

I am impressed with the quality of these scissors. I bought a two piece set, gifted a pair to my sister who is also a seamstress. The blades of these scissors are surgically sharp and the tip makes precise cuts easy. They are also very pretty which is an added bonus. I would definitely recommend these scissors to any handyman but NOT for kids.

Disappointed with the purchase!

I bought two pairs of these embroidery scissors - copper and bronze - and both came with slightly curved blades so they won't cut paper - I doubt they'll even cut embroidery thread! They were securely packaged by the manufacturer so I'm assuming they were already bent when shipped. The uneven color of the handles so that they not only do not cut, but also ugly! I would not buy again!

Suitable for both embroidery and knitting thread, *very* sharp

Probably every avid hobbyist dreams of these perfect pair of scissors and for about 20 years it has been my Premax embroidery scissors. (By the way, if they're much less than $70 or don't cut well, they're cheap Asian fakes.) My only complaint is that their small size can make them uncomfortable. But I also crochet a lot, and that brings with it two problems. . First, the Premax are so sharp that they will cut through the yarn they touch, as long as you just position them before cutting…
