I bought these on a bit of a whim and to be honest fully expected to pat myself on the back of my hand when I got them - I don't need that to buy scissors really , but somehow wanted to like pleasure. I was skeptical based on several negative reviews but was pleased to find that the scissors are sharp across the entire edge. The scissors open and close easily and smoothly, but not too quickly if that makes sense. There is the slightest trace of friction. The scissors are a good weight so you feel like you're holding something but not too heavy or too long. I gave them 4 stars to see if the brass finish would wear off with use. I will update this in a year.
