They require an OEM replacement. This is not OEM plastic that will crack over time. So far I am satisfied with the product.

After 5 years my husband was able to repair the rear window of his 2002 Tundra with it. It wasn't easy, but he found a YouTube video and did it. No more tape to keep the window closed.

Well made product but we couldn't assemble it due to lack of instructions and it didn't fit. Contacted the supplier, they said back. But the return window is already closed

Damaged packaging, missing a hinge and punch. I only needed one so I kept it. Installation was easy, but I was always afraid of breaking something. Very tight, takes some force to open but I'm ok with that

This is a really easy replacement for Toyota plastic parts. Use the included punch to remove the old one and then put the new one back in place. They won't break if someone presses hard on the window when opening.

Definitely better than the plastic part it replaced. Easy installation. Silicone grease and channel locks help push the pin back in. I didn't have to resize the hole at all. YouTube video helped before installing. 2000 Tundra.

These are meowing cats to fix the side window deflectors in my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. They were broken for a while and I ordered them and they are great. My friend installed them this weekend and no problem so we watched youtube videos on how to fix them and it helped a lot.

You will need pliers but everything else is included in the package. It comes with a replaceable locking loop on both sides, and they're both probably broken if you replace one. Use a metal bar with pliers on one side to push out the aluminum piece. Attach the new hinge and insert the aluminum pin at both ends. Better than the plastic original!

I assumed all of these Tacoma and Tundra rear window lock repair kits would be the same for my 2003 Tundra. This was definitely not the case. The hinge holes on this item are too small, which I only noticed afterwards. I ended up ruining my locking system and had to use the full OEM replacement kit. I tried using the pivot pin that came with my latch for this poorly made hinge and ended up with the pin stuck in the hinge pin between the bracket arm and the latch. I couldn't take it anymore and…
