🔧 Bilstein (24-016988) 46mm Monotube Shock Absorber: Superior Performance and Unmatched Durability Review

I have been using Bilstein products for over 18 years and have nothing but good things to say about them. My shock for all my cars.

I have always wanted a Bistine for my Chevy Truck and I was not disappointed. The original bottom screw was too thick, had to sharpen it a bit, no big deal.

1997 updated Chevy C2500 HD suspension with the latest technology. Turning and braking of the truck without rollers and rollers. I will buy again. The new rear anti-roll bar didn't spoil the picture.

Bilstein will be the only shock you will ever need to buy. Enormous difference in handling. I'd say better than stock, especially for the price. If you see a negative review on a Bilstein, it's because they are naturally negative people.

My Hummer feels both soft and strong with these new dampers, perfect. Install another model of the same brand in the front suspension, the combination is very good. I really like this brand

Oh how I've dreamed of this for my old Chevy for years! Easy setup, with an extra friend and a few beers later we got it done in minutes. Installed on a 1998 Chevrolet C1500. Looks great against the blue background. The ride is great, slightly stiffer in the rear. This is usually what the Z71 package has, so the ride quality has improved. You may need extra hands for someone to grab the shock while you screw it in properly. Would buy again!

These dampers are significantly better than my old ones (the old ones were removed so anything would be an upgrade). The ride is a lot stiffer, but it handles corners a lot better, especially with a 2.5 ton body (I have a C3500)! I can't tell you how long they will last but the reason I chose Bilsein is because other reviews said you have to change them every 200,000 miles. Take it in disbelief, but the idea is that they last a while.
