🚗 Bilstein 24 186742 5100 Shock Absorber: Unparalleled Performance and Smooth Ride Review

Absolutely awful. Worked well for about a year (15,000 miles) then the ride quality deteriorated. Yesterday, about a year and a half after ordering these Bilstein blocks (30,000 miles on it), I ordered original GM blocks in a brown box that came with the truck. I rode it about 80,000 miles before I needed a replacement. Garbage. FYI, I tow a decent amount, but the original shocks that came with the truck lasted almost 2.5 times as long.

5100 terrible shocks on my 2002 2500HD 4x4 These things make me feel like I'm in a tank, like a brick on wheels. These are very stiff shock absorbers. Don't buy if you own a truck, go to your truck brand's forums and do your research before spending your hard earned money, you won't like the way they drive.
