Same damping test

I've always had a quality product from Bilsteins, well I use Bilstein in all my cars. This review relates only to this specific purchase. I have a faulty shock, totally dead. No cushioning.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not the best

Compared to 90, the suspension and rear brace are like night and day

Installed on my 2011 Pathfinder LE, took less than two hours to install with AIR LIFT 1000. The handling and rear assist is like night and day compared to the 90,000+ mile OEMs that have been there.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Updates

better than stock but wish they were a little stiffer

They were great the first week but noticed a softer feel after just a week and now after a year of 18k miles it's even softer , so I will definitely replace it again next year. But again, the ride is still better than stock with the progressive feel they have.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

No sagging unless fully loaded

I've been waiting for my review just to make sure the blisteins are all they cracked. Installation was very easy, jack up the car, remove/install 2 bolts and 2 nuts on each side. Tested heavy duty and marble shipping just to be honest the truck fell a bit so I upped the air in my airlift 1000 Put 1 on the warranty. Monroe - Bought these while waiting for a KYB warranty and they just sag just like the original KYBs. Time will tell, it's the bomb, but for now it's R a Bag of Chips and then some…

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Pretty much everything is fine

Great solid shock absorber for 2011 Nissan Pathfinder

Bought for my 2011 Nissan Pathfinder. A BIG improvement over the pathetic apology for the shock Nissan gave these trucks when they left the factory. I replaced those and the horrible rear springs with Moog springs - Moog 81119 Coil Spring Set. The car feels a little firmer but definitely more controlled and no longer has what is commonly referred to as "death wobble". Highly recommended. Photos of this can be found in the R51 suspension section of the Nissan Path forums. These things were…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No power
