    Bilstein 4600: shock absorbers

    The original shock absorbers on my Chevy Trailblazer were Bilstein. I have now replaced it with the same brand but a better fit for my Rough Country .75" lift. Very stable run! I am very happy with my new device.

    better than OEM good price

    great item if you want something better than OEM. better body control, not hard. As a car enthusiast, I prefer more rebound damping than what's on offer, but I'm not going to get it anywhere near this price. perfect for the trailblazer 06 EXT.

    Direct Parts

    2003 Chevy Trailblazer EXT w/ 80K rear had Bilstein shocks but looked OEM, not Bilstein colors, rusty and smaller diameter, Chevy may be OEM by Blistein and a cheaper one was made for them. To replace new ones, all you need is an 18mm wrench or socket, or both, and a torque wrench to tighten the bolts to the 63/ft-lb setting. The difference when driving both during the day and at night, the SUV lies more on the road, and the body does not tilt and does not shake. Definitely worth your money.

    The best damper in the world. Fits a 2005 Chevy Trailblazer

    These are the best shocks in the world. They have been known to clock up over 200,000 miles with excellent performance. This damper is cheaper than your typical Monroe crap from the parts store and its damper is way better. It replaced the factory Bilsteins on my Forerunner and the damper body is much thicker. I bought them knowing they would be the last hit my trailblazer would get. Don't get another shock for your trailblazer and get this. It takes 5 minutes to install both backs.

    Unbelievable about shock absorbers, struts and suspension

    frankly I am shocked by these shock absorbers. I can't believe how much difference they make, my truck doesn't even look the same anymore. The main differences I feel relate to braking, cornering and acceleration. When I braked beforehand, the whole truck would lean forward and barely stop, which was strange considering my brakes are almost new. When I turned, the whole truck dived low, and as I accelerated, it threw you back in the seat. I never realized the tremendous impact of punches. It…

    The best choice for your Trailblazer's performance

    Bilstein makes some of the best shock absorbers on the market. Trail Blazers come standard with Bilstein. After I replaced my original 180,000 mile shocks with these, the truck had a day/night difference. Now I can hit 20 mile ramps faster and with a lot more confidence. The front of my truck doesn't dive as much under hard braking as it used to. I have had Bilsteins and they have never let me down.
