Fits 1st generation Tacoma Raised

Works great and has the correct valving so the ride isn't harsh. Absorbs shocks well. New sockets are required as the ones supplied do not fit. Energy Suspension 3/4" Hourglass (Part #9.8108G) are the required bushings.

Pros
  • Shock
Cons
  • Something else

Easy Install, Instant Improvement

My 03 The Tacoma rear suspension is softer, the rear wheel now rides properly when cornering bumps. The rear is raised 3.5 inches so I had to use that extra length and my truck won't extend! Easy installation once I swapped out the correct bushings on these baddies.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • unreliable

money well spent.: Parts

My truck drives like a dream with it! I never thought these shocks would work so well, they are installed on my 1991 Chevy Crew Cab Long Platform with a 6" lifter and 37" tires. They ensure that the truck runs smoothly on rough roads and make braking and steering much easier. I will never go back to cheaper shock absorbers for any of my cars. UPDATE, almost 3 years of heavy use and my rear shocks are leaking oil. I will replace them with another set of Bilstein shock absorbers.
