Surprised to be able to receive signals that the standard duck doesn't even come close to matching. Safe dB gain, clear sound.

Magnetic force is practically useless. If you're planning on using a cellphone, since that's the intended application, look elsewhere. If the manufacturer can fix this then this is an effective antenna but cannot be recommended at this time

Good value for money. I use them to increase the range of my radios that I use in the field. I use Wouxon HT radios with the mic/speakers attached and these antennas in my UTVs, quads and trucks. Provides better communication than the rubber ducky antennas that come with radios.

The magnetic base is completely useless. Antenna falls without leaving the driveway. The antenna usually picks up scanner frequencies, but it's useless if the base of the magnet falls off. It came with double sided tape to attach it to the car, but that defeats the purpose of having a magnetic base, allowing the antenna to be removed without damaging the car's paintwork.

package opened and laughed. Went ahead and put it on the vehicle to see how it came. The magnet is so weak you can't go more than 20 mph without getting blown off. That didn't happen, however, as the scanner didn't pick up a single tower. NO SIGNAL AT ALL. If you don't have a Jackson to flush the toilet, don't waste your time with this crap! I bought 2 packs, loaded them on a truck and drove off. I hit 55 mph and heard a chime so I stopped. One antenna was still there, but lay down, and the other was completely gone. If you use them indoors they should suit you, but if you want them for your car I personally wouldn't buy them. Spend a little more and buy something with a better magnet.

The perfect antenna if you are looking for something small and compact. The antenna has good reception because it is designed for reception over a wide frequency range. It's not a big antenna. See the photo I've attached. Size depends on use, but if you want a cheap external antenna this is excellent value for money. How bad are these antennas? Poorly. You will be shocked how bad a bad antenna can be. The only good thing about this antenna is that it looks like an antenna and that's the only plus point. I ended up using mine as decoration but not with the glue provided, I had to use my own. You can literally make an antenna out of wire and a metal hanger and we'll get significantly better results, so I don't know how they messed it up like that.
