BIO IONIC Goldpro Dryer Review

Bought on the recommendation of my hairdresser. It's a bit pricey, but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for"! So true! I've spent years buying hair dryers from discount stores not knowing how much better I could get. Now I know what a quality dryer can do. I bought this and the right diffuser for my curls and I love them both. So happy with this purchase.

I bought this one after spending several hours of my life researching different hair dryers and I'm glad I did. Someone recommended Dyson to me, but I didn't want to spend $400 on a hair dryer; However, I was willing to spend a little more money for a better product. I love my old Bio-Ion hair dryers but I find they don't last more than 3-4 years. I couldn't find the same model so I bought this one - not so good. The power of the air is much stronger than the previous one and makes it difficult to blow the hair straight because all the parts are blowing like crazy. The buttons on the side of the handle are poorly designed. It's difficult to hold the pen without pressing the buttons. Pretty fur. By price? No way.

I like everything about this dryer except wish it was a little hotter. The noise level is excellent - very quiet. The weight is perfect and the dryer is easy to handle. The cable is long. The switches are easy to use. This is a very high quality hair dryer.

So far I have used this dryer in the US, UK and Germany. It's great - such a better blow off than hotel dryers in less time and compactness. There is a switch that you need to set to the correct voltage depending on your country. This is for a pen. You will still need a plug to socket adapter for the country you are in and I recommend using an adapter with surge protection. In Europe, never plug a hair dryer into a shaver socket in a bathroom. Look at the photo. The box it came in was dirty and looked like it had been on a shelf for 5 years. The box itself was unsealed and the inside was just as dirty. It had scratches on it. Apparently the thing was used, and $135 to boot. Do not buy this product!
