you must receive it. to the filter accessories

I can highly recommend this product. This was my second order. I used it to improve my biorb. There was enough light for my shrimp to move. It was porous enough for my herb to grow in and the fact that it naturally cleans the tank was its most amazing selling point.

Pros
  • Bio gravel is the perfect substrate for your aquarium
Cons
  • I can't remember, but there was something

sweet pea! suitable for aquarium pumps and filters

that turns a poor little fish death into a fantastic life ball! It is placed over the coarse foam pond filter, which is located on the bottom grate. Our experience with this product so far is fantastic, the water chemistry has always been perfect, we used a whole bag on the stove. This time we notice the same qualities and the water smells fresh and sweet peas! Our plants are blooming and the water is crystal clear. Gravel can be added to the installed tank after flushing. Order direct from…

Pros
  • Filling material for bottom gravel filters, internal filters, hob filters, small canister filters and home-made decorative filters
Cons

I had been using the original foam filter prior to the upgrade for about 6 weeks without fish after losing 2 fish on a very high nitrite surge. I moved those remaining fish to another community tank, let it work, and…

Conversion of my Baby BiOrb. BUY

This is the best there is, but you won't get much bang for your buck. I wish I could measure, but I'd say about 2 US cups of gravel. I searched Youtube for my #49 Pondguru filter to update the BiOrb filter so I don't have to use the sharp ceramic backing that BiOrbs come with. I have a 4 gallon tank and after cutting out the pond foam and placing it in my tank I poured a 2 pound sack in and it wasn't enough. I have just ordered a second bag which does the job. This substrate is expensive but…
