The light didn't last long. Now I'm stuck with a tank with no light. Didn't impress. The water pump is noisy and the cables are in the way.

Poor instructions for difficult assembly. Instructions are not synced with illustrations. the filter did not fit. there is no sunlight or the thing is a fire hazard. There has to be a better aquarium than this. disappointingly high maintainability

I love this aquarium and get compliments on my aquarium every time my family and friends visit. BUT design wise I have to reassemble the entire setup every time I need to change this, and that's often the case. I would like a design where you can change the filter from below.

Looks very nice except for the hose that runs down the middle. It states that you cannot use any other substrates, except for the porous stones included in its composition. I'm experimenting and putting rocks first, then some slate rocks on top of it, and Fluval Stratum on top of everything (because it's porous itself). So far the "pump" is working fine and has no problems pumping air. I'll update later and see if BiOrb still works or doesn't add this substrate (when it shouldn't). In addition,

When I first bought this tank, I was very excited. The design looked really cool, a bit cheap but for the price it was acceptable. Once I started the aquarium, I soon realized that the filter's current would be too strong for my bettas. I slowed the flow out of the filter by putting an adapter on the air hose.
