A problem I could not overcome.

I really wanted to like this die cutting and embossing machine. Being able to adjust the casters along with the plates and spacers seems like a good idea. It is a very heavy item and speaks for a good quality. Unfortunately, I had a problem with some of my embossing folders, the center was not embossed as deeply as the outer edges. Even playing around with different numbers on the dial and different combinations of plates and spacers, I couldn't fix this problem. Unfortunately I can't recommend

A good substitute for squid.

Now that they've discontinued the Cuttlebug I've had for years, I need a new die cutter. Even though I have Cricut, I still love hand cutting. You can no longer find the right replacement parts for your Cuttlebug and when the mats and plates wear out it's difficult to keep adding more to get a decent cut. This machine allows you to manually adjust the print settings, which is absolutely amazing. I look forward to many years with this machine. So much so that I turned around and bought an…

Cheaply made for die cutting and embossing

I was looking for a new die cutting/embossing machine. When I took it out of the box, even my husband said it looked like a child's toy. Completely made of plastic, not hard and not heavy. Easy enough to attach (and detach!) the handle. The knobs turned easily enough. It cut out my die cuts and embossed well. But! For 150€ I want a better car. I want one that has an all metal reel and components, not plastic that will cause the gears to come off or the knobs to not engage to accomplish what I'm

Overall a fantastic machine

Best kept secret in hand punches! I really like this 9 inch machine that I bought for large format die cutting. The only downside is the lack of a metal insert accessory, which I believe is essential for making clean cuts on complex dies, regardless of the "pull" pulley in the machine. But I believe that applies to all machines. They all seem to have "dead spots" on the rollers that just don't apply enough pressure, hence the need for a metal washer under the die and paper. Clean one passage at

The most intimate secret!

I now have two Bira Craft punches. I have a 3" and a 9" and now after using this I should have an excellent 6" machine. The 9" is amazing. I like that you can control the pressure and the insert isn't plastic so you won't hear any clicks or squeaks Very durable Cuts like no other Feel free to buy one of their machines Their customer service goes beyond what you could ever expect so you can't buy a better machine (and I also have two very popular machines that I will be selling.) I'm just hoping

Glad I took the risk!

I spent weeks reading and reviewing reviews of various dies after my original Cricut became obsolete. This time I chose a mechanical car. Although physical stamps tend to be more expensive than digital sets, I needed flat embossing capabilities (without many complex steps) and embossing folders aren't expensive at all. I haven't used any other manual machines to compare, but I'm very glad I chose this one for three reasons. 1) Mode selection button. I've been using my Bira Craft quite a bit for
