🏡 Bissell 5770 Healthy Home Hose: Optimal Cleaning Accessory for a Healthier Environment Review

Perfect replacement hose for my little/easy installation. Worked as expected! I saved time and money taking it to my local shop for repair.

Cut a piece of hose to replace the bottom hose for the main suction on my Hoover Smartwash plus and it fitted perfectly. Works perfectly

Worn hose and main nozzle fitting on my original hose rendering the vacuum unusable (no suction due to leaks). Bought and it works like a champ. ALMOST an OEM replacement. I say this because the color is wrong and I don't believe it was made by Bissell (not 100% sure though) and the hose is about a foot shorter than the OEM. For me, the length is not critical. Works well, perfect for a vacuum cleaner.

I gave this item 5 stars because of three factors: 1. It arrived earlier than expected, 2. It was cheaper than buying it direct from Bissell, and 3. It was accurate what I wanted and needed. These factors were very important in this purchase because I've had bad experiences with other sites (which I won't mention here) that showed me the same picture and then sent me something completely different. After years of use, the original hose for my Bissell 5770 vacuum broke in a few places. This replacement hose is inexpensive and fits perfectly. Some have complained that it is shorter than the original hose but I have a feeling it is just like the original when the original was new and not stretched. Old woman repair, I think I will continue to use it. The new Bissell looks very cheap and, in my opinion, has serious design flaws from a user perspective.

I dropped a cheesecake crust in the oven when I was removing it and foolishly vacuumed it up immediately, not thinking about the vacuum the melted butter would create with my insides . Well, needless to say, it was a mess. I was able to disassemble the rest of the vacuum and clean it with a fine toothed comb but no matter what I did I couldn't clean the hose, there were just too many combs with oil/crackers in them.
