I haven't washed the oak floors in this room in years because I thought they looked great. When I was renovating the room I thought it would be a good idea to use CrossWave with Wood Floor Formula (fresh lemon scent) to clean them. After I finished I thought they were shiny because they were slightly damp, but I was wrong. They came out beautifully and I got "shiny hardwood floors" right away. I bought this product because it restores the natural shine of hardwoods. Unfortunately this is not accurate. It cleans hardwood floors but still leaves dull marks on them. I even spilled water on the floor to remove the film it left. Still no shine. It works like a multi-surface cleaner, so don't waste your money buying it. At least with multiple surfaces, you can use it on more surfaces. If you want your hardwood floors to shine, look for a hardwood floor polish. They renew and add oils…

I want to like it more than it really is. It smells way better than the multipurpose floor cleaner that came with my Crosswave - a little lemony. But I seem to have some streaking issues, as I do with the multi-level cleaner, even after switching to the Crosswave wood floor brush (also bought here at Revain).
