Looks nice but doesn't work.

Screwed into my propane can and nada. Tried it a few times but it doesn't work. Wanted to go back but Revane wanted me to drive 90 miles (round trip) to the UPD store to return a $15 item. No thank you. I don't know why they don't provide a UPS shipping label so I can leave it in a UPS box in the NEXT town.

Works well with soldering iron and iron

I had a self-igniting torch head that the igniter stopped working so I used a lighter for it. Then he just started putting on a very weak flame with no adjustment. A year ago I had a basic thing I liked and never had a problem with it so I was looking for a basic burner head without spending too much money. This was a very accessible tip and it works great! There is a beautiful flame that can be adjusted as needed. Fits standard propane or camping stove tanks. Might not have a detonator, butโ€ฆ

As mentioned in the reviews, it's difficult to keep the light anywhere other than vertical.

The device has a nice flame at the tip of a pencil, but is very finicky about adjusting the gas valve. This is because changing the position of a full bottle causes a similar overflow (pressure) condition. I think the hole is too big for the torch head. As my intended use for them (I bought 2) is in a fixed position I don't foresee a major problem. If you want to use for soldering plumbing fixtures I don't think this is the right solution for you as it requires a different torch/bottle angleโ€ฆ
