Pro-micro compatible microcontroller board featuring the Atmel ATmega32U4. Sturdy through-hole USB-C connector that is more rugged than a standard USB micro B. Ships with the Atmel DFU bootloader, which is smaller and less finicky than the default Caterina bootloader. The built in white LED shows power status by default, and can be set to 3 different brightnesses using GPIO controls. 100% of Bit-C units are exhaustively tested before shipping, ensuring you're spending your time building, not debugging.

exactly what you need

they serve their purpose perfectly, work great and come in two colors to match any of your builds. What more can you ask for? I've used about six of these now.

Functional but not durable

The microcontroller arrived and worked right away, but a couple of contacts didn't work after a lot of heat. I don't know if mine was damaged specifically, but I would be wary of ordering this, especially if you're new to soldering like me.

Damaged circuit board best in computers and accessories

Item arrived damaged Some traces have broken off along this crack. The LED is also the only component that is misaligned, but this is purely cosmetic and very minor. Otherwise it makes a very solid impression. in a bag, so even a single layer of bubble wrap probably wouldn't have saved this device from the hellish hell it went through getting here. I intend to update this when the replacement arrives and I've installed it in my sofle keyboard.

Damaged circuit board in USB cables

Item arrived damaged. The circuit board is bent, a crack is visible along the underside with exposed copper. at least some of the traces are broken along this column. The LED is also the only component that is misaligned, but this is purely cosmetic and very minor. Otherwise it seems very durable. so even a layer of bubble wrap probably wouldn't have saved this device from the terrible hell it went through on its way here. I intend to update this when the replacement arrives and I've installedโ€ฆ
