Really like these but only the top of the wood is finished. So you have to decide which side you want to put on or put down. If the shelves are higher up the wall, you'll probably want the finished side below to look prettier. On the bottom of the wall I assume you want it to face up so it looks prettier. I've planned about half of it, so I guess I'll have to finish it myself, which is a little disappointing.

Very cool and fun to build! There are many components in these shelves that can be screwed on and off as well as assembled into whatever layout/design you want on your wall! The instructions are very vague which can be bad for some people. But at the same time it's fun to create your own layout! The hardest thing is to hang everything on the wall! I decided to do it bit by bit and it was easier for me. Thank you for your business!

Very easy to install. I highly recommend installing it on whatever floor pattern you intend to use first. This will help you plan the order in which you will hang it. If hanging in a corner like the picture, start at the bottom corner shelf and work your way around. The mounts that come with the kit are fine, but I used the stronger ones I already had. I wanted the shelves to match the industrial farmhouse theme. A little strong but nice to look at. I am very glad that I bought these shelves.
