I bought a sander at a great price. It came with a piece of sandpaper, so I bought a 1/4 sheet pack of Black and Decker sandpaper at the same time. The replacement paper was smaller (shorter) than the one in the box and didn't crease, I sent it back. Realizing I needed longer paper, I used the original sheet as a template and cut out a piece of heavy-duty sandpaper from the remaining belt on a belt sander. It worked great. Hello, I am disappointed with Black and Decker. The company has always made reliable, average tools that appeal to both women and men. Size, ergonomics and overall a good useful product that works well as long as you don't use it as a work tool. I started renovating a 4x4 burl wood coffee table. The BND has arrived. I can't comment on dust related issues as I'm not interested in the dust collector functions but everything else is great for coarse sanding and super fine sanding. something in between. As for the ¼ sheets not fitting if you insert the end of the sheet UNDER the white thing that is behind the wire clamp - don't do it.
