I can't comment on dust related issues as I'm not interested in the dust collector functions but everything else is great for coarse sanding and super fine sanding. something in between. As for the ΒΌ sheets not fitting if you insert the end of the sheet UNDER the white thing that is behind the wire clamp - don't do it. Place the end of the sheet on the narrow edge of that white thing β the edge that's in front of you when you switch papers. The clip only holds a small amount of paper, but you should be able to see it. The piece of sandpaper will be long enough - just about - to catch the tiny piece on the other end. I haven't had any sandpaper rip or fall off, even with just those little ends of the paper getting pinched. But the clamps on mine are very tight and other reviewers have said they are missing and/or bent. I would try gently bending or relaxing whatever looks reasonable if I had this problem. (Back to the sandpaper for those who can't get 4 pieces of the right size out of a full sheet - the 'leftovers' can be sorted out. Workers left a good bit of sandpaper here once, these were quite significant pieces that didn't become I taped the straight unused edges and applied 2" wide 3M packing tape to the back, along the seam. Then cut these new pieces to size and put a piece of tape, across the other, also on the back, next to each of the both side edges - this takes about 3 minutes if that. They held together perfectly and worked as if they were cut from a single sheet. But it probably won't work if the connection is very close to the end of the new part. I know - Curmudgeon - but I paid for the sandpaper (which costs a new deck so why waste it?) or send it back.
