Hello, I am disappointed with Black and Decker. The company has always made reliable, average tools that appeal to both women and men. Size, ergonomics and overall a good useful product that works well as long as you don't use it as a work tool. I started renovating a 4x4 burl wood coffee table. The BND has arrived. It looked nice, wasn't heavy and felt comfortable in the hand. However, when I looked closely, they contained only 1-1/4 of a 220 grit. No problem, I thought. I gathered sandpaper so I found what I wanted and cut the sheet into four pieces. Except that the sandpaper is European, ie 8.5 x 12 inches. Makes me 0.25 inch smaller. I had to cut out a new sheet using their paper as a template. I now realize I can only get 2 sheets out of a large one as the US size is 9" by 11" according to the United Abrasives Association www.uama.org. Well I started working and it felt great in my hand. Not too heavy for me to determine the pressure required. Cool, great! The next piece of paper was disappointing and timely. A thing meant to poke holes, I haven't had time to read it. I used original paper and a hole punch. I emptied my sandbag and got back to work. After 10 minutes the whole square bottom came loose and hollowed out my beautiful (expensive) wood. When I tried to get them back they told me I had to prove it. It seems this letter. After 2 hours I now know a lot more about sandpaper and what the inside of a grinder looks likeπ₯΅ππ΅. Now that I've shared it I'll go back and try again. The rotation of the square part has failed openly. WILDβΌοΈ Good luck πβοΈ
