🍚 Convenient 2-in-1 Black and Decker HS800 Handy Steamer Plus: Food Steamer and Rice Cooker Review

I use it often for many things: hard boiled eggs (never go bad), veggies, fish, rice, oatmeal and even steamed bread (e.g. microwave to heat something) . I don't have a microwave so this product comes in very handy. My mom has one and she feels the same way.

Bought in June, not used right away. (Covid turned everything upside down) I then noticed that the water was gone when the timer ran out. I finally noticed that the timer got stuck. Eventually I was smart enough to set the cooker timer to the same time as the rice steamer and the rice steamer had 20 minutes left on the timer when the cooker timer rang. the timer doesn't work, no wonder the water has boiled over! This steamer and its bigger brother HS900 were the best units. Unfortunately, they were phased out in favor of less useful, useless models. The HS800 is ideal for 1-2 people depending on what you are cooking. It is much easier to use and clean than new models and devices from other manufacturers.
