Good, but not outstanding.: Small appliances

The lowest speed is too high. One of the whisks only fits on one side of the machine. If there is a lot of food on the whisk, the mixer will fall over. never mind

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • volume

Disappointed with small appliances

weighs about 2 pounds but I really don't find it ergonomic and comfortable to hold. It's pretty bulky. I've tried shredding chicken with it and it didn't work as well as another hand mixer that's over 30 years old. These mallets are starting to rust and that's the only reason I've been looking for a replacement. It has power, but not enough to shred chicken. Fighters leave a lot to be desired

  • Not the best

Great kitchen and food mixer

I love this hand mixer. It's light and quiet. I love having two whisks. I bought a Cuisinart blender that was about twice the price and returned it immediately. The Cuisinart mixer was heavier and had only one beater. And as it turns out, Cuisineart boasts that their racquets are two inches longer than other brands. However, longer whisks are terrible. You have to hold your arm two inches up, which is difficult and tiring. I highly recommend the Black and Decker blender.

  • Hands Free

  • Vulgarity

So far so good - great blender

I used it once because I only had it for a few days. It's easy to use, the whisks are very easy to put in and take out of the mixer, and the slow speed is slow so the food doesn't fly around the kitchen when you start beating. It worked well. It has an excellent top speed. It got the job done quickly (beating eggs, sugar and olive oil together for the cake). I am very happy with the result and would buy it again. This is good value for money. Seems very strong. It's easy to store. I emphasize…

Happy with mixer

Happy with this mixer. This is an "improved" version of a blender I previously owned that I accidentally broke myself. This blender worked satisfactorily, but this one was at least as good or slightly better. I think this one runs a bit smoother and I particularly like that the 1st setting is slower which prevents splashing when initially mixing the ingredients for the dough. (I should be listed as a "Verified Buyer" because I purchased this blender from here even though my order listing says…

Disappointed: Faucets

I've had one for a few years now. I really liked my KitchenAid hand mixer that I had years ago. I figured I wouldn't have to spend as much this time, so I bought a cheaper Black & Decker. It will handle the thickest batter, but finer mixing is not for this mixer. The slowest speed is comparable to the top speed of a KitchenAid hand mixer. It's a pain when you want to mix flour for cookie dough and whip as little as possible, but you can't mix the frosting and create a cloud of powdered sugar. I

Good mixer for the price

I needed a new hand mixer so I went with this one as I didn't want to spend a lot on it when I also have the right stand mixer for things like batter. I would never try to make higher gluten batter with a hand mixer, so I can't comment on how well it works. Overall this is a good buy for the price. What really made me stick with this one is the fact that it also comes with two racquets. I'm not sure why, but most don't. Whisks are very important, so I wanted to make sure I had one that had…
