I had to throw this blender away a few days after delivery. It's cheap, it's low maintenance, but it didn't even last 2 weeks before it stopped working. Since I was moving to another city I decided to get rid of it instead of returning it to Amazon. Other alternatives are a bit more expensive, but last forever. Do some research before you decide to buy a blender.

So I tried a fresh fruit smoothie with some liquid. It just wouldn't mix. I had to turn the ingredients over with a spoon so everything was whipped (while in the blender). Even then, a lot of manual work was needed to put everything together. I even tried adding liquids before solids as suggested. I will turn back. I really liked its spaciousness and glass container, but at least it should mix substances.

A quite worthy mixer for its price. Mixes normal soft things well and washes easily. However, if you don't tighten it enough, it can leak down as you blend and you won't notice until you need to clean the blender motor a few months later. It also gets stuck when mixing ice, so every once in a while I have to take it out and shake it if it's mixing something solid.

I bought this blender because American Test Kitchen recommended this brand but the model is no longer available. I bought this to make Bullet Prove coffee, which means blending a stick of butter into hot coffee. The cap will leak from 2 fill media each time. I've tried it twice in total and I know I can't use this blender for this purpose. You have to spend more to buy a more expensive blender that guarantees hot liquid tightness.

We make cocktails out of it. We tend to make them pretty thick. It takes some time for the fruit to fully blend and we often have to stir by hand, but that's to be expected when making very thick smoothies. Blender seems fine with this. I've also used it to grind dried peppers for peppers. He did a great job of turning the pepper evenly so the paprika came out evenly and finely ground. It also cleans incredibly well.
