Masterpiece Maker in my review

This casting resin is perfect for my arts and crafts projects. It sets up quickly and produces a beautiful, glossy finish. The consistency is easy to work with and perfect for sculpting. The only downside is that it can be a bit finicky to measure out the exact amount needed. Overall, I highly recommend this product for any artist looking to make their next masterpiece.

Pros
  • Strong and durable once cured, can create intricate and detailed castings
Cons
  • Requires proper ventilation and protective gear during use to avoid health hazards

product works well and looks good. Gives you a lot of working time because it's great when you make multiple pores. It has only one downside, it takes about 45 minutes longer than advertised.

Pros
  • Handy if you want a black cast, no color pigment required (can be polished and polished to a mirror finish)
Cons
  • Some other

Hardly ever pulls out

I've worked with polyurethane resins for many years and I know they can be difficult, but this material is terrible. About 75% of all casting attempts just never happen. Yes, I've eliminated all possible sources of dirt and moisture (plastic mixture, humidity up to 30%, etc.) and still 3/4 of all attempts fail in places that just won't heal. I've tried experimenting with thinner patches, pressure (up to 20% moisture), heat, mechanical mixers, hand mixing, different mixing cups - nothing seems…

Pros
  • Shore 80D
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
