Very easy to get confused if like me you just want to over tighten a bracelet or two if they break or stretch too much. I learned that I had to pre-stretch before the beads, and even (aggressively) they still stretched very quickly. This time I tried the black color of this brand since most of my beads are made of obsidian, tourmaline or hematite. I don't think black is as strong as clear but it's pretty good. Much better than others I've tried. I OOPS with this order and got 0.8mm instead of 1mm, but I can use double strand on some beads which is even stronger. I will gain another 1mm in a few weeks. I just love this stuff! I have bracelets from 20 years ago that I made with 0.5mm black Stretch Magic and they still hold up but are slightly stretched. But everything I've done with the 1mm transparent cord is still perfect after 20 years.
