So the smallest size was almost round when I laid it flat. Neither of my two Chihuahuas could climb on it to use it. I almost returned it but then realized I could just remove some of the filling. I ended up removing most of the filling to make it easier for my dogs to climb on. Now it looks like a pillow in the photo. Haven't tried washing it yet but I like that the cover is removable and the material is durable. We use it on our outdoor patio. I love how it looks!

I bought this bed a month ago. I still have one we bought over a year ago and it's amazing, our dog loves it and it washes easily. this does not apply to this new bed. Today I found my dog completely indoors under the covers between the pillow and the blanket. Looks like the zipper is broken. He's trying to invest in, and the pad is torn.
