Enhanced Black Widow Wheel Balancer Stand featuring Truing Arm Review

Very good balancer for motorcycles. Works as advertised. The level indicator should be round and not attached separately to the frame. I am happy with the purchase.

The base seems to have been slightly warped when I received it. The balance bar that was received was bent in the middle. when i received it. With a price of 90 dollars. I would recommend ordering from a more established brand. I return mine.

The product appeared to work. When it arrived it was so bent that the alignment rod that goes into the post to make them screw properly will not come out unless the posts are unscrewed to remove them. I'm pretty sure they're misaligned, but I was in a dilemma and wanted them to be as balanced as possible. Too bad how much they cost.

Just a complaint. The cones, which press against the wheel bearings when trying to fit the wheel, are displaced when the set screw is tightened. This can cause vibrations in the hub. For an otherwise well-made device with a focus on precision, this flaw would make accuracy almost impossible when assembled as advertised. My advice. Do not overtighten the set screws.

The package arrived and the first thing I checked was the bar the wheel would balance on. It was straight but when I looked at the base of the stand I noticed it was crooked. It looks like they bent the sheet metal or welded the support members across the floor. Consequently, the two vertical parts do not match exactly. I think wheel balancing can still be used, but centering pins are useless.

A very strong stand at a great price that combines balancing and trueing in one tool. The 7/16" axle offers more flexibility for use on older machines with smaller axles like my '49 Indian, but still works well on modern machines with larger axles. The only downside was that they had to wrap the base in bubble wrap. or something like that.
