Best disappointment inside

After installing this I had serious problems with the drivers and had to remove the card. A Windows 7-64 computer often showed a blue screen on startup. and I'm not getting the 720p30 output that I was able to get from the old card. This will not work if you have an older version of DeckLink Quad.

Pros
  • Very good quality
Cons
  • Empty

Great product for the price

I am using this with a desktop PC to send video to Unreal Engine for virtual production. Works great and hasn't let me down. Strange only the order of the inputs (1 - 3 - 2 - 4 - Genlock). Not a deal breaker, just something to watch out for when setting up your project.

Pros
  • Well made
Cons
  • Compatibility

Great solution for SDI output.

Used to get independent SDI outputs from iMac. It was a great solution when paired with a Thunderbolt 3 enclosure. If you want to use this via the lower-thirds planning center, it works right out of the box. correct display.

Pros
  • Complete Set
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

It just works! in internals

We use it in our multi-camera production system for event streaming and more. Blackmagic Design advances with Duo2 cards. I have two of these on an old PC with SSD and vMix software and am always amazed at what I can do compared to an ATEM system. They just work. No crazy setup hassles. Power up 1 (or 2) system, build it your way and at a very affordable price. For us it's like buying a Tricaster but at a reduced price.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Doubtful

Works great for internal TV tuners and capture cards

Currently working with no issues, in uncontrolled environments and remains stable, supports 4 video inputs/cameras at 1920x1080@60Hz, easy to set up and manage, drivers very easy to manage see you on their official site. Compatibility with the main video streaming programs such as OBS, Wirecast, vMIX, I tested them all and the result was satisfactory since we have already built with this card in the 3rd team. Price I consider it affordable given the versatility and quality of this recording…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Expensive

Does NOT work with OBS, there is no product manual!

I bought this to use on my computer for OBS (Open Broadcaster) with a Sony SDI 1080p camera. The first thing that bothered me was that the tiny package contained absolutely no documentation other than the SD card which was NOT READABLE on my PC. After searching I was able to find a "manual" for the product which is not really a manual. I've never heard anything so crazy in my life, but there is no real user manual for this product, even in digital form. Instead, there's a 700+ page "manual"…

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Works very well Fits computers and accessories

I have very little experience or knowledge with capture cards and the like. So I didn't know what to expect. Popped a Duo 2 card into the available slot, did the suggested setup, launched OBS, launched the 3 cameras I use to stream video - and after hours of fiddling with OBS it was - 3 separate crisp videos. feeds.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Functionality

Awesome 4-port HD-SDI capture solution

We've updated our Curling Club webcast system by adding multiple HD-SDI cameras connected to this capture card, powered by vMix productions /streaming software transmission is used. My only complaint is that the jack to channel mapping is weird and poorly explained, but you can just plug in a camera and see what's going on to find out. Otherwise it was easy to set up and use to capture with vMix. Make sure your motherboard has a free x4 PCI slot. Make sure you use high quality RG6 coax cable…

Pros
  • Stupid 🔥
Cons
  • Annoying
