Internal 4K videos

This interface works great to download 4K videos to your computer. There are four entrances. I currently use two. I have connected two Sony A6400s using pure HDMI. I also use Vmix which is great 4K video streaming and switching software.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Some difficulties

I really wanted this card to work but unfortunately it doesn't work with Canon DSLR cameras. I've tried everything in the book. If you search the Blackmagic forums, you'll quickly find that the card has trouble detecting signals from different brands (Sony, GoPro, etc.) when it doesn't properly detect an incoming HDMI signal. In my case it accepted 1080p and said it was 480i (SD) and there was nothing I could do to get the card to recognize the signal correctly. I was also disappointed with…

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some bugs

Exactly what I've been waiting for.

Easiest hardware installation in decades. To obtain drivers, download the BlackMagic Design Desktop Video Setup application before or after installing the hardware. The setup app comes with discs, allows you to configure each input, and if you're having trouble with apps like OBS or Wirecast, you can check the signal resolution. If you want to stream 4k, make sure you have an i5 Skylake processor (5th gen) or better. My Sandy Bridge can only play 540p, but I want to upgrade everything for AMD…

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • No mold required

Great capture card for Vmix

I installed this card on my Vmix production workstation. It is excellent. Works out of the box - after installing the drivers, you get four separate HDMI inputs supporting video up to 4K at 60p. I've hooked up 4K 30 resolution cameras, PCs and a couple of TV boxes that I've been considering and so far everything has been fine. I regularly run three cameras during live broadcasts and it has been reliable. I highly recommend.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Big and bulky

The card works. But . and big but. is that the provider has to fix the provision of the necessary drivers. They are not in the box and are not visible on the website. It was awfully hard to find. Why? Because they don't tell you that you get drivers by downloading a software package that doesn't appear to be related. You need a hint. When I bought the map, I want the installation to go smoothly. What was supposed to take 5 minutes max ended up taking over 30 minutes and lots of different…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not sure

READ ME: At your own risk - no tech support

It took me over 2 days to find tech support, installation info and drivers. Check the system requirements before buying, the drivers go under the name "Desktop Video" on the Black Magic website and there is an internal USB socket which I have no idea what it does. (no documentation) I got mine working but the problem is the operating systems Blackmagic Design capture cards are compatible with the following operating systems: Windows 8 64-bit Windows 10 64-bit Ubuntu 18.04 64-bit System…

Pros
  • quality build
Cons
  • socket required

plug and play; runs in Thunderbolt 2 @4K60FPS

Plug and play for me! Use it in an old Thunderbolt 2 case to record my Xbox One X and gaming PC at 4K 60 FPS. No visible delay and excellent color space thanks to HDR compatibility.

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • No insurance

100% NOT compatible with Linux and cheap hardware.

We buy a lot of recording cards and use them to record on different servers and computers. 100% Black Magic indicates this card is Linux compatible; it doesn't work at all. We have several software developers in our company. they all rated this card, its drivers and associated software. Save yourself the hassle and buy Magewell Pro Capture - it's 200% better, higher quality hardware and drivers work right out of the box. This is not a good quality card; I see it as a decent card for streaming…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Crumpled

The perfect card for 4K streaming!

I stream here every day on Revain Live and I use this capture card for two PCs! It works AMAZING! it does 4k too! It's better than Magewell and way cheaper! The setup is a bit confusing, but if you buy this card and need help setting it up, join my stream and I'll help you set it up. You have to go to their website and it's not that easy to find the drivers, but after about an hour I was able to find the drivers, set everything up and go! I use all four capture card ports for my camera…

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Almost everything is included
