🎥 Enhanced BlackVue DR590 Full HD Dashcam with Sony Starvis Image Sensor – Dual Channel, 16GB Review

I was trying to set it up to use with my smartphone. In an email to support I was told that this model only works with your computer. What's the point if I can't show the cop, the paramedic, or the playback of the video.

I bought a single camera Blackvue 590 last month. After watching YouTube videos of car crashes, road rage etc I decided to upgrade to a Blackvue Dr 590 with two cameras. Couldn't be happier. You won't find a better dual camera dash cam for the price. I like that it's almost invisible. Just install and forget. And this is the best insurance plan you can buy.

The camera has great photo quality and performs better than most of these cameras I've bought before. The only problem I had was that sometimes the micro card fills up and doesn't overwrite after a scheduled automatic maintenance. At least you'll know something's wrong because a voice message is constantly repeated announcing scheduled maintenance. I can then take out the card, erase the files on the computer and reload the program to get it working again. About 2 weeks seems to have elapsed…

This is my first DVR, I'm very happy with the quality and the price. Up to about 20 minutes will be recorded on a 16MB card and loops will be recorded, incidents will be saved from a loop recording. It tolerates the summer sun in the car well. Good deal. Arrived quickly. Was pretty easy to install. When I was three months old I went on a week-long vacation and when I came back the truck's battery was dead. At that time there was no Battery Disconnect Kit. The camera died after the truck's battery died. The firmware was corrupted and stuck in download mode. I called Hd Depot, they said to return it. Don't let the advertised 1080p fool you. Both front and rear DVRs have poor video quality. You can ONLY use this camera if you have been involved in an accident and have already verified the other driver and verified their VIN. This camera's parking mode is useless as you most likely won't be able to provide video with enough visual evidence for your insurance company and law enforcement to do anything about it.
