Ray-Ban for your BlackVue

Easy installation. I have a BlackVue 900X-2Chan. I checked the footage, the quality of the video is excellent. I live in San Diego where it's always sunny so this filter does the trick.

BlackVue CPL BF-1 Filter for DVR

Works well with the DVR to eliminate sun glare and reflections off the car windshield and hood and eliminate high beam glare at night. great product like polarized DVR sunglasses

Do not use this if you have tint

Don't use this if you have tint on your windshield unless you want pretty rainbows throughout the video. This removed some of the dash flare I get, but the rainbows are too disappointing. The filter itself looks cheap but fits well on the DVR and doesn't rattle. Video at night is much darker than without a filter, which is understandable. I took it off and put it in the glove box in case I wasn't tinting my next car's windshield. Mine was used on DR900-X 2CH

Works in some areas causes other issues

I have a DR750X Plus and I have the CPL and what a mixed bag. It reduces dash glare but creates all sorts of purple highlights depending on how the light hits the CPL. Part of the problem is the gap between the CPL and the cam lens, which I believe causes reflected light to bounce into the gap at the correct lighting angle. I've tried this from time to time and you go from one set of problems to another. This does affect the details of nightshades a bit, so you have to balance that. I was…

Pros
  • Auto Video
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
