Blank Tattoo Skin Practice Makeup Review

Overall this is a tough faux leather. The thickness is really good and your car's movement feels very smooth. The only downside was that when wiping, especially with color packs, the ink can "stick together" like eraser shavings when wiping. But I definitely recommend this skin for practice!

Works but is a bit difficult to ink. I had to go through everything many times to get the ink. Most of the ink collects on the top surface and is eventually absorbed after processing. Almost like a membrane on the outside. The carpet is quite easy to clean with Vaseline. I've tried several skins from Revain and so far this is the best. It is thick and can be used from both sides without leaking.

I've been tattooing for 9 years and for a decent price this is a great product to study or work on some side projects as an artist. Good thickness, I could easily draw straight lines. Pack color and greywash. I would like it to stretch a bit like real leather but for the price I have no complaints.

I first bought another brand of tattoo practice leather which was closer in color to my natural skin tone. It was a beast to work with and very easy to color. This is TERRIBLE for a tattoo. You really need to crank up the voltage on your machine to get adequate penetration. Not only that, this skin has a glossy finish that I've never seen on a workout skin before. This makes it incredibly difficult to remove the ink with petroleum jelly or soapy water. Any ink stains that skin to the point where even bleach cannot remove it. Don't waste your time or money.

In the initial stages of tattooing, it is important to have the tools to practice in order to improve your work. I've had faux leather before and I'm pretty sure rubber (never use rubber faux leather) is the worst kind of faux leather. From here to here.
