Terrible for a tattoo.
This is TERRIBLE for a tattoo. You really need to crank up the voltage on your machine to get adequate penetration. Not only that, this skin has a glossy finish that I've never seen on a workout skin before. This makes it incredibly difficult to remove the ink with petroleum jelly or soapy water. Any ink stains that skin to the point where even bleach cannot remove it. Don't waste your time or money.
