Quality seems to be declining

I use it as a cigarette lighter. The first one was still working great 3 years later when it was stolen from the porch. The 2nd worked great on every hit but only lasted about a year and a half when it stopped catching fire. 3. Igniter stopped after replacing a lamp and Amazon. The fourth one works now but burns intermittently. (5+4+1+3)/4=3.25 so 3 stars.

Pros
  • Flashlights
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Great for Incense Wood

I have used a standard butane lighter to smoke Palo Santo Incense but sometimes it takes a long time and doesn't last long. With this flashlight it lights up immediately and I am very happy with it. I also use Vector butane which is ultra pure (available from Revain) and not the Ronson brand found in most supermarkets. At first it didn't ignite, although I heard gas. I had to turn the air regulator so it was closer to the tank, not away from it, and it immediately lit up with a long blue flame.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Small Parts

Great tool for small jobs!

This little tool is just what I needed. It worked great for me for several months. With almost daily use! A little more, for those who need it! Before I bought this I had no idea what I needed and if it would do the job! I used to have one that fitted on a propane tank. Which has a bigger flame. I found that out. Almost all are hot enough to be soldered, annealed and flame patinated. But the size of the flame determines how big a piece you can successfully process. This isn't the smallest…

Pros
  • Soldering Iron and Soldering Iron
Cons
  • So far so good
