This is the perfect finishing touch for your cable railing posts. My only criticism would be that I would like the bit to be 1/2 longer so it goes through the 4x4 cleanly. It wasn't enough to securely seat it in my drill press chuck. I was able to get it to work in my cordless hand drill to finish the holes.

Product as described except the 7.5mm drill bit supplied instead of the 6.5mm drill bit described. I should have tested this first but unfortunately I used the drill bit provided and drilled through my posts before finding the holes were too big! At the moment I'm putting putty, sanding and varnishing the wood before I can try again with the right bit.

They are great. The included drill was also of good quality. The problem, however, is that it's an odd metric size, bits of the same size aren't sold in the US. The drill is too short, only about 3 inches, and cannot clear a 4x4 post, which is probably the minimum depth required for all options. They had to enclose a bit to clear the 4x6 post.
