This is the perfect finishing touch for your cable railing posts. My only criticism would be that I would like the bit to be 1/2 longer so it goes through the 4x4 cleanly. It wasn't enough to securely seat it in my drill press chuck. I was able to get it to work in my cordless hand drill to finish the holes.
