Blistex 5-Star Lip Protection, 0.15 Oz. Review

I wasn't impressed at all with this '5 star' Blistex lip protector. stay on my lips for a very short time and then it's gone. There was no moisture, it just stayed on my lips until I used a tissue or went outside in the heat, after which I had to reapply it immediately. As for the sun blocking, I'd say it probably happens while it's on, but don't count on it lasting long, reapply often or try something else.

This is a lip balm that doesn't need to be applied 10 times a day and does the job well. I spend a lot of time outdoors, and while my shoulders are sunburnt from the sunscreen, my lips aren't. It also appears to be windproof, as is Carmex. The only downside is that it can freeze on the lips in very cold weather. But this is the only lip balm I've used the entire tube of.

but it's unsurpassed for really chapped lips. It said; The original is far superior to things like lip balm or other oil sticks. Blistex is used by NATO troops on all seven continents for a reason. I've used it on six of them. Successful.

Blister 5 Star Lip Protection is actually a 5 star product! I've been buying this for years. It blocks the sun and prevents cold sores, which I'm very prone to in the summer. Moisturizes, non-greasy. It works under my lipstick. It has no particular taste, so there is no incentive to lick it off and thereby destroy the object. It has no shine or tint so I can apply it all over my lips and beyond the lip line and it won't look like I missed it!

First off, let me say that I hate this lip balm less than most SPF lip balms. The taste finally made me give it up. Now I use Banana Boat and I hate it a little less. It seems that doing lip balm with SPF is very difficult.

This is just a bomb. It's non-waxy and shea butter makes it smooth and moisturizing. This is the only lip product my 4 year old twins will use. Moisturizes the lips and the surrounding sensitive areas of the face in winter and glanders. Perfect for summer lip sunscreen (I've been known to rub it on the tips of my ears).
