I chose between the Pioneer BDP-150K (which by the way reads FLAC without changing the extensions to MP3, like the 140th) and this one. Most of all I paid attention to the sound quality like Audio CD, MP3 and Flac. Even from the Panasonic digital output it sounds more velvety and soft , clear deep bass! Pioneer has a very sharp sound and does not have such detail as Panasonic. (I checked it on my Marantz NR-1402 receiver and Dali Ikon MK2 acoustics). I bought a Panasonic BDT-120 and I don’t…

Pros
  • Excellent video and sound quality! Reads formats FLAC and MKV over network and via USB. Convenient control panel. Excellent quality of Audio CD playback. Build quality is not clumsy. HDMI image is excellent, there is something to compare!
Cons
  • Haven't found it yet! If only limited networking opportunities, so they all!

The purchase did not bring joy, the product is bad.

The display killed everything, it's just miserable, it doesn't show what disk it costs, unlike my old player, it's just a huge minus, I'm not going to constantly turn on the TV in order to listen to music. The platsik is cheap, it’s not at all clear why such a huge price, for a picture, sound ? Addition, mp 3 reads from the disk only when the TV is on. My old player reads without turning on the TV. All together looks like a cheap Chinese player and the price of this is no more than 3000…

Pros
  • Great picture, sound, that's about it
Cons
  • Disgusting display as in cheap Chinese devices. Addition, mp 3 reads from the disk only when the TV is on. My old player reads without turning on the TV. All together looks like a cheap Chinese player and the price of this is no more than 3000

Personally, I liked the player, as it was bought specifically for viewing licensed Blu-ray and DVD. The player copes with this task by 5. HD video is amazing in quality, by the way, the sound is also excellent, and this is when using TV speakers (connection, of course, via hdmi). In general, the build quality and thoughtfulness of the device are on top - high-quality plastic, painted metal panels, soft and almost silent output of the disc tray. As for the shortcomings, this, as I have already

Pros
  • Image quality, especially from Blu-ray discs. A convenient menu to understand the basic functions of the instruction is not needed. Fast loading discs, I personally have a blu-ray loaded in 10-15 seconds, no more. Excellent appearance, although an amateur, of course.
Cons
  • Very picky, both in terms of playable files and media. Often does not play CD-R/RW.
